In a North East Derby not to be missed, Newcastle United host Sunderland in a Premier League football match.
This is a statement you will not hear very often "a two goal victory for Sunderland will put Newcastle back in the relegation zone". Unlikely for the past decade or two but VERY true for today’s game. Of course, despite Newcastle’s poor run of form, you can expect they will rise to the occasion and with the home advantage thay have been declared slim favourites to win the match.

What a postseason the Arizona Cardinals have had, winning in every playoff round and now reaching the 2009 Super Bowl XLIII. They face a big task though against a Pittsburgh Steelers team who all but cruised from the divisional’s to tonight’s big stage at Tampa Bay.

Today, the title race may be all but over for one of these Titans as Liverpool host Chelsea in the English Premier League. Both teams are five points adrift of the Champions, but Chelsea have the far superior goal difference. Liverpool’s destiny was in their own hands just two or three weeks ago, but now they will be relying on a slip up from the leaders just as Chelsea will.
