I am writing a review to promote an advertising program named ‘Infolinks’. After hearing about the company from my brother, I signed up in January this 2009. Infolinks provide in-text advertisements, and you get paid on a pay per click basis. They offer one of, if not, the best revenue sharing percentages of all the in-text advertisers I have come across (If you don’t know what I mean by in-text advertising, then please read the note at the bottom of this post). Setting up the Infolinks adverts onto your site is not rocket science either. If using wordpress, like me, then you simply copy and paste the code that infolinks provide into the footer.php of your theme. It’s as simple as that! You don’t have to alter your web site in any way whatsoever. I began blogging with only adsense, and later I used another mainstream in-text advertiser. They were great the first month, but as time went on my earnings got significantly lower. With infolinks, my earnings have been great and consistent month after month – for which I’m very happy with. How it works is, your earnings are rounded up on the last day of each month. If you have earned $100 or more, you receive your payment a month later. If you have earned less than $100, your earnings are carried over to the next month. Infolinks always pay on time and the customer support is more than satisfactory. If you are just a hobby blogger or even a professional company with a web site then I recommend that you check them out, they could help you boost your revenue.
Note: In-text advertising uses keywords within your post text. For example, if you wrote a post with the sentence "I saw a great online video on this website, it was really funny". The word VIDEO could be highlighted which, if hovered over by a reader, would display an ad. If the user then clicks the highlighted word, then they go to the advertisers web site – and you get paid!
